RED

It’s nail polish day! This time I went for my favorite red, which is Brilliant Red by KOH. And to make it extra shiny I added some rhinestones. You can put them on the nail polish when it is still wet, but for a stronger hold, you can use glue once the nail polish is dry. I used tweezers to get them in the right place.

KOH is a great quality brand with beautiful colors and a very nice design. I like the Japanese geisha branding they have. I’ve always been fascinated by Japan. I think that started when watching Karate Kid when I was a child. So I am talking about the old movie from ’84, in which Japanese teacher Miyagi, who has Bonsai trees, uses his garden for training. The new one with Jaden Smith is also great and the setting in China was a good idea for a current remake. Nowadays China has grown in appeal to me. But still, I love the link of KOH to geisha beauty.

About the title: Taylor Swift. Her songs are usually upbeat and super catchy and overplayed on the radio. But I still think they are fun and she is definitely one of the current pop stars I like. Without it seeming to much of a guilty pleasure, because she is simply a really good singer. And well, this song is different. Where she usually disses her exes, this one is more like a love song. Admitting you are passionate about that one guy, even though it did not work out. Haven’t figured out about who she sang this one though. Does anyone know?
