FAIRY PARADISE

Agent Provocateur, brand of the son of Vivienne Westwood, Joseph Corré, and his now ex-wife Serena Rees, has been around for almost twenty years. And even though they are currently owned by private equity firm 3i, I still see them as a unique style maker. So once in a while I go to their online shop to check out their new collections. And today I actually came across their accessories and noticed this amazing Globe-Trotter collaboration suitcase set. There is a trolley suitcase, a large version and also a Vanity case. They are black hard cases with gold bras clasps. But the special Agent Provocateur thing is the inside. It has an exclusive illustrated travel print on baby pink silk fabric. The print shows pin ups of different countries including Egypt, Texas, Paris, Shanghai… So where ever your paradise, Hawaii maybe, these suitcases will be a stylish companion! Also check out their lingerie and their super sexy bandage swimsuits and bikinis!

About the title : Fairy Paradise is one of the beautiful delicate songs of CocoRosie. These two sisters Sierra and Bianca Casady make such a unique blend of genres with Pop, Electro, Opera and Beatbox sounds. This song was released in 2010 on the album Grey Oceans. I don’t know that album, but came across this great live recording, which I will put on the FWxSS YouTube playlist. They do have a new album out called Tales of a Grass Widow. I have listened to several of the new tracks and this sounds more accessible, although it is luckily also still pretty eccentric. But the song Noah’s Ark is still my favorite. If you would like to see them live, CocoRosie have just started touring again, so check their site for any dates near you.

WE CAN’T STOP

It’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami and of course that is a great place for models to show of their toned bodies. Palm trees, tribal, floral, graphic and animal prints, soft pastels and bright neon’s. No surprises there. What I really like is this golden number with little spikes, very edgy. It was in the show of Dolores Cortés and went combined with a tropical range. I love the pick and mix trend in bikinis. On the other end of the scale this super cute penguin motif, which was combined with marine stripes in red and blue. Super fun! This was from Poko Pano, which also included the monochrome trend. As did Nicolita, who combined black and white with a polkadot bow. The Beach Bunny show was most daring with different cuts and colors and their show was upbeat and flirty. Sports Illustrated models Irina Shayk and Chrissy Teigen did collaborations with Beach Bunny and were not walking but sitting front row watching their own designs. The amazing hair styles, with long ponytails and fishtail braids, was created by TRESemme. Image

About the title: I chose this new hit from Miley Cyrus because of her equally hot and body-showing-off type video. I find her quite skinny at the moment, just like most models. She does certainly work her new found sexuality though and she’s partying in a pool! http://miami.mbfashionweek.com, http://mileycyrus.com, http://www.tresemme.com/, http://www.youtube.com/fwxss The Mode Movement
